Rental company Nexus has announced an update to its Iris platform, which it said had been carried out ready for the upcoming peak period of demand.
It said upgrades included the introduction of a bulk group update tool, which enables large-scale booking changes to be completed in seconds, saving large amounts of manual effort.
Nexus chief operating officer Gerry McCaig said: “Our technology-first approach means we are always looking for ways to improve Iris in a way that supports all stakeholders.
“The recent enhancements have helped us to process a record number of peak hire bookings quickly and efficiently, ensuring our customers continue to receive the high-quality service they expect, even in the busiest period of the year.
“It truly supports our powered by tech, delivered by people approach, utilising technology to speed up bookings whilst freeing up the team to provide key support to clients where needed.”
