It’s official – the BusinessCar Fleet Technology Awards 2012 are open for entries.
This is the fourth year of the awards known simply as the ‘Techies’.
As the job of fleet management becomes increasingly scientific and defined, so the technology within fleet becomes ever more important.
The Techies are here to reward the those advances.
This year we’ve tweaked the categories to reflect changes within the industry. Firstly, we’re rolling the two Green Development awards (one each for car manufacturers and suppliers) into a single category to level the playing field across fleet.
And secondly, we’ve introduced a new Best Customer Service Initiative award to honour those using technology in this arena.
So, if you’re a fleet supplier, car manufacturer or fleet manager that wants to have a go at being branded the best for technology, then enter one, or more, of the 12 Techie categories (see table, right).
You’ll need to submit no more than 300 words stating which category the entry is for and describing why your system, service, kit or car is the best for fleet. Entries should be emailed to editorial@businesscar.co.uk with the subject line ‘Techies’.
Judging for the awards will be carried out by an expert panel after the closing date for entries and nominations, which is 5pm on 20 July. Techies winners will be revealed in BusinessCar magazine on 21 August.
