Peugeot has announced a limited edition launch version of its new 508 SW estate – the first iteration of the new model to go on sale.
The First Edition is based on high-end GT trim, but gets styling tweaks including a gloss black grille surround and 19in Augusta diamond cut two-tone alloy wheels with tinted varnish finish.
Inside, there’s a mistral black roof lining, blue ambient mood lighting, carbon effect trim, Nappa leather seats, aluminium pedals and doorsills with model inscription, while the boot gets a Zebrano wood finish with anti-slip bars.
Technology includes a night vision system, inductive smartphone charging, DAB radio and 10in touchscreen with sat-nav and voice recognition.
There’s also a Focal sound system, and Peugeot is also supplying Focal headphones for use away from the vehicle.
Engine options are a 1.6-litre 225hp petrol and a 2.0-litre 180hp diesel, both paired with an eight-speed automatic gearbox.
CO2 emissions are 132g/km for the petrol, and 124g/km for the diesel.
Order books are open now, with prices set at £40,814 for the petrol and £40,939 for the diesel.
