Renewable energy provider OVO Energy has added 40 electric Kia E-Niros to its fleet.

The vehicles are for use by the company’s field team. They were supplied by dealer Wessex Kia, with liveries fitted by MediaFleet.

OVO Energy has signed up to the EV100 initiative, committing it to an all-electric fleet by 2030, and has also set a 2030 net-zero carbon goal.

Field operations director Ben Guest said: “We’re excited to expand our field force team’s fleet, with Kia’s E-Niro electric vehicles, building on our commitment to achieve net-zero carbon emissions from our own operations by 2030.”

Kia Motors UK regional business sales manager Lucy Allberry said: “At Kia we pride ourselves in finding the right car to fit individual business needs and having worked closely with the team at OVO Energy, we are pleased that they have chosen the E-Niro for their field team.”
