BMW has announced prices for the iX, its new flagship electric SUV.
The model will be available with a choice of two equipment grades – Sport and M Sport – and two powertrains, with either 326hp or 523hp.
Prices for the model, which will arrive in the UK in November, start at £69,905 for a 326hp Sport, and rise to £72,905 for a 326hp M Sport, £91,905 for a 523hp Sport, and £94,905 for a 523hp M Sport.
On the WLTP cycle, the iX will cover up to 380 miles on a single charge with the 523hp powertrain, and up to 257 miles with the 326hp powertrain.
Maximum charging speeds are 195kW and 150kW respectively, allowing a 10-80% charge in around 35 minutes for the 523hp model, and 31 minutes for the 326hp model.
A further variant with more than 600hp is due to join the range at a later date.
The iX will be the first BMW to come with the brand’s latest iDrive infotainment setup with Operating System 8.
Standard equipment across the range includes 21in alloy wheels, Driving Assistant Professional, Parking Assistant, BMW Live Cockpit Professional, four-zone air conditioning, heated front seats, and wireless phone charging.
