Seat has launched a 12-point business car aftersales charter covering “upfront pricing”, guaranteed response times and a complementary vehicle valet every time a fleet customer visits a dealership with the aim of becoming a “fleet manufacturer of choice”.

The company is expanding its dedicated network of 19 fleet sales outlets to 25 this year but the aftersales programme applies to service departments in all of its 122 dealerships.

Nigel Griggs, head of the firm’s aftersales division, outlined a new, clear pricing structure to help business car operators maintain control of maintenance budgets, which incorporates “competitive maximum hourly labour rates”. The scheme also covers not paying more than £7.50 a litre for oil and a maximum £35 MOT fee.

Steve Robertson, head of the Spanish brand’s fleet and business sales, said the corporate customer commitment was part of “our continuing mission to become a fleet manufacturer of choice” and make the company “simply easy to do business with”.
