Seat has recruited additional members of staff to its fleet team in an attempt to increase volume growth in the “true fleet” genuine company car user sector.

Steven Colborne-Baber and Lerato Barrett have joined the Spanish car maker in the respective roles of south contract hire and leasing manager and fleet development manager.

Colborne-Baber previously worked as an area fleet manager for Volkswagen. He has worked in VW’s fleet department for the last 10 years, having started as an area sales manager.

Barrett was previously an area fleet manager with Skoda, while she has also worked with Hitachi Capital Car Solutions as its manager relations account manager for three years.

Colbourne-Baber’s appointment should strengthen Seat’s relationships with leasing firms including Arval, Leaseplan and ALD, while Barrett’s role will focus on delivering the firm’s fleet objectives of growth.
