Seat‘s fleet sales boss Andy Webb has resigned to take up a post outside Seat’s parent firm VW Group.
“Andy Webb, after 10 years working for the Volkswagen Group and two years as head of fleet and business sales at Seat, has left the company to pursue new opportunities. Seat UK will look to appoint a new head of fleet and business sales as soon as possible and, in the meantime, Peter Wyhinny, director of Seat UK, will be caretaking the role with the capable support of the fleet and business sales team,” said a spokesman for the Spanish brand.
BusinessCar understands the announcement of a replacement for Webb’s role is some months away, and that Webb will be joining another car maker outside the VW Group.
Seat‘s fleet sales fell 16% to 13,899 units in 2008.
