Skoda is making plug-in hybrid versions of its Octavia and Superb available to emergency service fleets.

The Octavia iV, the Octavia vRS iV performance model, and the Superb iV, are all being offered with either hatchback or estate body styles.

It is the first time vehicles from the iV range have been offered as blue light conversions.

The PHEV powertrains mean pure electric driving ranges of up to 43 miles for the Octavia iV, up to 39 miles for the Octavia iV vRS, and up to 37 miles for the Superb iV.

The blue light conversions include 360-degree lighting, and a full integration of the emergency services’ communication platform within the vehicles’ existing infotainment touchscreen.

In addition, Skoda says individual customer conversion requirements can be accommodated via its approved specialist converters.
