Hyundai has confirmed specs and prices for the newly-updated version of its i20 supermini.
The range consists of three equipment grades – Advance, Premium, and Ultimate.
Standard equipment with the Advance grade includes 16in alloy wheels, LED headlights and tail lamps, an 8in touchscreen with Apple Carplay and Android Auto connectivity, a 10.25in driver display, air conditioning, cruise control with speed limiter, a leather-wrapped steering wheel and gear lever, front and rear parking sensors, a reversing camera, and electrically-adjustable heated door mirrors.
Also included is Hyundai’s SmartSense safety package, featuring forward collision alert, driver attention alert, intelligent speed limit warning, high beam assist, lane keep assist, lane follow assist, and a tyre pressure monitoring system.
Further equipment with the Premium grade includes 17in alloy wheels, front fog lights, power-folding door mirrors, privacy glass, automatic wipers, an automatically dimming rear view mirror, climate control, multi-colour ambient lighting, heated front seats, a heated steering wheel, a 10.25in touchscreen, and a free three-year subscription to Hyundai’s Bluelink telematics system.
Extra features of the range-topping Ultimate grade include keyless entry and go, wireless device charging, blind-spot collision warning, forward collision assist with cyclist detection, and a Bose premium sound system.
Only one engine option is available - a 100hp petrol – but there is a choice of six-speed manual or seven-speed automatic transmission.
Prices for manual cars are £20,770 for Advance spec, £22,570 for Premium, and £24,070 for Ultimate. Autos incur a £1,250 premium.
