Targa Telematics has announced a new strategic partnership with Renault, allowing it to integrate data direct from the company’s vehicles into its range of connected car services.

The deal applies to a range of Renault and Dacia cars, as well as Renault LCVs. It allows Targa Telematics to capture data such as location, mileage, fuel consumption, battery condition, and charging status, without the need to install aftermarket hardware.

Targa Telematics vice president of sales Alberto Falcione said: “We are thrilled to have partnered up with Renault as part of our broader strategy of collaborating with major players in the automotive industry, following a series of similar agreements.

“This enables us to strengthen our position in the field of global data integration, enhance connected mobility solutions, and provide value-added services to our customers.”
