Toyota has confirmed full details of its new Rav4 SUV, the fifth generation of the model.
It will come with a 2.5-litre petrol hybrid powertrain, available with either front-wheel or four-wheel drive, and boast power outputs of 215hp with the former and 219hp with the latter.
Provisional CO2 emissions figures are 102g/km and 103g/km respectively.
Four trim levels are available: Icon, Design, Excel and Dynamic.
Standard equipment with Icon trim includes rear parking sensors, rain sensing wipers, an 8in touchscreen and a 7in colour TFT driver’s information display.
Design trim adds sat-nav, front parking sensors and smart entry.
Excel trim comes with blindspot monitoring, rear cross traffic alert and heated front seats; while Dynamic trim offers similar kit to Excel but with more sporting touches, like black alloy wheels.
Across the range, the second generation Toyota Safety Sense is standard. That package includes autonomous emergency braking which can detect pedestrians in both day and night driving conditions, and cyclists during the day.
Also included are adaptive cruise control, lane departure assist, lane trace assist, road sign assist and automatic high-beam.
Prices start at £29,635 for a front-wheel drive Rav4 in Icon trim, and range up to £36,640 for a four-wheel drive car in Dynamic trim.
Pre-orders are open now, with front-wheel drive deliveries beginning in April and four-wheel drive deliveries beginning in May.
