User-choosers could once again be selecting a Toyota sports car if this FT-86 concept is given the go-ahead.
Due to be officially revealed at this month’s Tokyo motor show, the Toyota FT-86 marks a return to the sports car market for the Japanese brand following the departure from the market a few years ago when the Celica and MR2 were dropped.
Toyota has revealed few details of the rear-drive concept car which is similar in size to an Audi TT. However, it has said the car will be powered by a 2.0-litre engine from Subaru.
