Volkswagen Financial Services (VWFS) UK has appointed Gavin Jones as fleet director.
Jones has 26 years of experience in the fleet industry, and joined VWFS in 2019 as head of fleet corporate services and supply.
He will now lead all fleet activity within VWFS UK, with strategic responsibility for fleet operations, fleet development, rental, and fleet sales services.
Jones said: “I am delighted to undertake my new role with VWFS UK. Together with an experienced senior leadership team, I look forward to driving the fleet department’s growth strategy and implementing our ambitious plans.
“This is an exciting time for the whole VWFS UK fleet team with a number of innovative developments planned to ensure we continue to deliver the best fleet experience for our customers.”
VWFS UK CEO Mike Todd said: “VWFS and our fleet expertise is of strategic importance within the wider VWFS business and Gavin’s leadership skills will play a key role as he oversees future growth across our range of fleet services.
“Under his remit, which brings all fleet activity together, he will champion collaboration and efficiencies throughout the department and focus on the growth ambitions we have in place for this core area.
