During the past three years Jaama has helped more than 850 organisations including local Government to do this by holding regional seminars and workshops.

Fleet Management Essentials workshop

Are you new to the role of fleet management or have 'acquired' the day-to-day running of the fleet as part of your responsibilities? Our one-day Fleet Management Essentials workshops are aimed at administrators and managers who have the responsibility but not necessarily the experience or knowledge of running a fleet.

During the day we will cover everything from cost-effective fleet management, managing and sourcing suppliers, green issues and legal obligations to fleet acquisition methods, taxation, duty of care and essential fleet documents.

Forthcoming Fleet Management Essentials workshops:

Tuesday 19th June - The Bromsgrove Hotel (M42 J1/M5 J4/5).

Thursday 28th June - Copthorne Hotel Slough/Windsor (M4 J6).

Duty of Care & Green Fleet Management workshop

Duty of care is still the biggest fleet concern of 2007 with environmental issues becoming increasingly important.

The latest figures show six 'at work' drivers die and 117 are seriously injured every week so the Government, through legislation, are forcing organisations to take responsibility and manage the risks involved in driving. Additionally, with green or carbon being mentioned daily in the news, investing in green initiatives now will ultimately save money for your business in the future.

Our Duty of Care & Green Fleet Management workshops lead you through the legislative minefield and cover areas such as easy steps to a safer and greener fleet, implications to your business, best practice guidelines, performing risk assessments, employer responsibility, policy essentials and the benefits of managing work-related road safety.

Workshops during the afternoon session include an overview of vehicle fleet management essentials with the help of technology and full understanding of the sample policies you will be issued with and how you can adapt them within your business.

Forthcoming Duty of Care & Green Fleet Management workshops:

Thursday 21st June - Holiday Inn Runcorn (M56 J12).

Tuesday 26th June - Menzies Prince Regent Hotel, Woodford Green M11 near Chigwell (M25 J26 or M11 end).

The workshops will begin with registration at 9.30am and conclude with an open question and answer session from 4pm. Lunch is included and refreshments are served throughout the day.

All workshops are priced at £375 + VAT per delegate including all course documentation, policies (usually priced at £120) and refreshments throughout the day.

We are running promotions on the delegate prices for BusinessCar readers. For details of these please call 01827 304750 and speak with one of our team.
