Traffic hell tonight?

Date: 20 June 2007

Take control with keepmoving's revolutionary traffic service: Free email alerts - free SMS alerts - listen live to other callers - breaking studio bulletins

Keepmoving.co.uk is truly setting the standards in the UK traffic information market.

Customers can now listen to eyewitness reports recorded by other motorists either by calling the Keepmoving trafficline or by visiting the Keepmoving website.

Eyewitness - how it works

Users of the Keepmoving trafficline are prompted to record their own eyewitness report describing traffic problems they are experiencing. The audio report is then moderated by Keepmoving's traffic team and if the content is approved, it is played back to other callers requesting traffic information for the same road. The same 'eyewitness reports' are also streamed out free of charge on the Keepmoving website, www.Keepmoving.co.uk.

Alex Petrie, product director of Keepmoving, told us: "As soon as we launched the new feature we realised that UK motorists were more than willing to record their own accounts of traffic problems. There is a real community spirit amongst frustrated motorists and the quality of information is exeptional."

The Keepmoving trafficline is available on any mobile network by dialling 64644 - calls cost 60p per minute.

Free commuter alerts

The Keepmoving website also offers a free daily alert service - an SMS in the morning if there's a problem on your route and an email traffic summary before you leave.

Subscribers can also call the Keepmoving trafficline on 64644 and hear a traffic summary for the same route, which is charged at 60p per minute.

To experience the new services for yourself visit the Keepmoving website.
