I’ve a recurring alert that appears on the driver’s information display between the S-cross’s speedo and the rev counter. It reads ‘Hill Hold disable’, and according to the Suzuki manual means “there may be a problem with the hill-hold control system” that stops you rolling backward on a hill start.
A quick Google search reveals that I’m not alone in experiencing this, and that the problem probably is, as I’ve suspected, clutch-pedal related, although the warning occurs when I’m on flat roads.
The manual advises I should have the vehicle inspected by an authorised dealer. So that’s where I’m off to.
