It’s time for a little gripe.
I say gripe, but I think it may just have been an oversight by Mazda’s engineers when they developed the car.
Despite having power-folding door mirrors – operated from the inside by the mirror-adjust toggle – they don’t fold automatically when you lock the car.
I don’t see why you wouldn’t want to ‘fold on lock’ because not only does it make damage less likely as people squeeze past your car in tight car parks, but it is also a great visual aid to let you know the car’s locked.
Surely it’s just a case of linking the ‘lock’ command to the ‘fold’ command in the electronic brain?
