Four weeks after a visit to the Mercedes Bromley dealership regarding a potentially faulty airbag, the spare part came into stock.

The new control module was fitted within a day and a courtesy C-class gratefully accepted while we waited. Dealer staff were courteous and also cleaned the car too.

Two points would turn a ‘good’ experience into ‘great’ though: after our first visit we were told merely to “call them back” without knowing whether the car was fixed or ready to collect (needlessly mysterious), and we didn’t get written confirmation to say what had actually been changed.
