After a couple of weeks out of action due to a misplaced key, normal service has been resumed and the Leon is with us once again.
Its return has coincided with news that Seat is currently throwing in its Technology pack for free for anyone planning on procuring a lower medium Leon.
The pack adds heap of kit, all of which is likely to go down a storm with whoever it is that’s running the car – and have a positive knock-on effect on the residual value.
It consists of full LED headlights, satnav and DAB radio, all of which has a claimed RRP value of £1915, and the offer is good until 31 December.
Seat initially started running the offer earlier in the year but decided to continue it beyond its original end-of-summer termination date to reel in more punters.
Our long-term test car has the Technology pack and, from a theoretical user-chooser’s point of view, I can honestly say that I’ve rinsed the benefits of all three features.
I could probably live without the LED lamps, but, spoiled though it sounds, I’m constantly gutted when I get in a car without DAB radio, and I’ve certainly relied on the satnav on more than one occasion.
