It’s always nice to see a cost per mile figure drop, though this time it’s not down to improving mpg (it’s hovering around 38.6), but because Volvo’s pitch to the residual value industry is working.
The Swedes have long been campaigning that the RVs on certain models in its range are a little low and Topcalc has responded by predicting our S80 will retain an extra £1300 over three years and 60,000 miles.
Otherwise, little to report. The big Volvo’s proving to be ultra reliable and a great cruiser.
