The start point for the best source of fleet information

Chrysler 300C Touring CRD

Date: 12 July 2006

£27,275

What's new

Chrysler's striking 300C is now available as an estate under the Touring name. Power comes from the Mercedes-derived 3.0-litre diesel.

Excellent

Running costs have more established executive estates weeping. Impressive standard equipment includes automatic gearbox, heated leather (electrically adjustable) seats, cruise control and much more.

Good

Excellent prestige road presence.

Average

The driving experience isn't as sharp and precise as with European rivals and the dashboard look and feel is less prestige.

Poor

Plastic boot organiser is a good idea but is too flimsy and can get squashed with mildly heavy loads such as big bags of dog food.

Verdict

A low cost, great looking alternative to the prestige executive usuals.
