Our new long-term C-class arrived at the end of last week, which meant the first taster was a Friday night crawl home through a snarled-up south London Friday night rush-hour.
Not an easy place for a car to make a decent first impression.
But the C200 CDI was in its element. The optional auto gearbox and satnav (£1095 and £1995 respectively) meant heavy traffic wasn't quite the frustrating hell it would otherwise have been. A good start for a car that we've been looking forward to running.
