The start point for the best source of fleet information |
|
Peugeot was one of the first to realise you could get a convertible onto a fleet list if you said it was also a coupe - after all, it has a metal roof when the top's up - and now the company has now added to the 207CC's (that's coupe convertible not convertible coupe) business appeal by giving it a 1.6-litre 110PS diesel engine.
If you're looking for a low cost staff retention tool that isn't a Mini, then the 207CC diesel makes a great deal of sense. The HDI Sport costs only 25.6 pence per mile to run, is capable of 54.3mpg and comes in at the minimum 18% BIK tax band for diesels. Against the car's £15,746 P11D price that's just £51 going to the exchequer for a 22% tax payer. And providing you don't try to put passengers in the rear seats, it's a practical car for two and well worth including on a fleet list.
Verdict: It's low-cost open-top motoring
