Grille

I think I've got a case of grille envy.

We opted for the Elegance trim level on our long-term Mercedes C-class, but the more I see the more expensive Sport trim, the more I love the way it looks.

Our initial thinking was that the £1700 step up to Sport from Elegance was too much, so instead plumped for the £1125 for the auto gearbox that's something of a default choice with Mercedes historically.

But the chunkier Sport bodykit makes that model look like it means business when compared to the traditional three-pointed star on the bonnet of our car. If we were choosing again from scratch I reckon we'd stump up the extra cash and go Sport-y.
