Our Fleet Test Drive: Volvo C30 - 4th Report

As mentioned in the C30's previous report, the BLIS blind-spot safety system has been showing a 'service required' error message, so we booked a trip to our local dealer, Parkside in Orpington.
The initial welcome was warm, but when we asked if the car could be ready by 3pm, the dealer would only promise that we could collect before they shut at 6pm. They didn't offer to let us know when they started the work, either, and we had to call twice for a progress report - a problem we seem to encounter with almost every dealer.
The diagnosis was a new wing mirror, covered under warranty but that needed to be shipped over from Sweden. Hopefully it will have been fitted by the time you read this.
