Our Fleet Test Drive: Ford Fiesta - 4th Report

Date: 07 April 2009   |   Author: Tom Webster

Fiesta radio
Category: Supermini
P11D price: £12,744
Key rival: Vauxhall Corsa

The first irritation has emerged with the Fiesta - it's been emitting a buzz from the central console that sticks around even after the ignition has been switched off.

It's a low-level annoyance that's been covered up by the various breakfast shows and cricket commentaries listened to on the daily commute, but it became more apparent on a recent trip out to the Wiltshire countryside.

Turning up the radio is hopefully not the only answer, so we'll be digging deeper to find out if we can fix the problem or if it's a matter for the dealers.
