Steering wheel controls and dash
P11D price: £19,824

Much like the set-up for the voice-activated Bluetooth system mentioned last time out, I find the steering wheel stereo controls on the Mazda 6 fiddly.

There's too much flicking of the small lever and pressing of buttons required to adjust volume or browse (living in London I like to stumble across pirate radio stations), so I use the dash-mounted controls instead. However, because they're located on the 'wrong' side of the dashboard, I have to stretch across to use them.

That, and the fact a colleague complains about always have to reach for the handbrake, leads me to believe the interior is designed for the more significant left-hand drive markets, which is inconvenient.
