One member of staff has found an unusual use for the electric blind that reveals/hides our Qashqai+2's excellent, standard on Tekna spec, panoramic sunroof - which, incidentally, makes me feel like Kevin McCloud on Channel 4's Grand Designs whenever I press the button above my head to allow a flood of natural light into the cabin.

In my colleague's own words: "Nissan has finally solved a problem that has been driving parents mad for decades. They have devised the ultimate anti-'are we there yet syndrome' device - the sliding blind kept my kid amused whenever I heard the slightest whimper of discontent from the back seat."

He's right - it's an excellent way for adult passengers in the front to distract the little people in the back.
