I'm still loving the idea of the 3008's detachable torch, even though it's yet to see real action in its detached state.

It's just like a normal light when tucked into the boot's sidewall, but when unclipped it transforms into a bona fide portable flashlight with a 45-minute battery life and its own stand - beneficial when changing a wheel (says the brochure). Luckily, if you leave the torch on when you clip it back into its boot space it automatically switches off and will recharge its batteries while you're driving. Just wish I had a reason to use it.
