Vauxhall Combo Maxx crew van: One Minute Test Drive Review

Date: 05 January 2010   |   Author:

What's new: Vauxhall has launched a range of Maxx-branded styling additions to its Combo range. There's the £630 function pack for interior styling and kit, and the styling pack at £350 that adds some sporty tweaks to the exterior.

Excellent: The modestly priced additions do the business, especially the quite subtle exterior pack that adds alloys and body-coloured bumpers.

Good: The Combo is good to drive, with the 1.3-litre diesel engine plenty for the small van, while ride comfort is impressive. Function pack optional sports seats are comfortable.

Average: The crew van offers plenty of space for the two people riding in the rear seats, although the lack of a window may be more than some passengers can handle.

Poor: With the extra row of seats in place, the Combo Maxx crew van doesn't leave a great deal of space for slotting in a load.

Verdict: Businesses looking for a little individuality without paying through the nose for it should be interested in the Maxx additions.
