Rear seats

In my book 60:40 sliding rear seats are 'a good thing'.

They boost the Countryman's 350-litre boot space to 450 litres, but I have to confess to not using the option yet for two reasons: 1) If you do have rear passengers it overly compromises legroom, even for kids elevated in child seats with no need for footwells and 2) On this model there is a pronounced bar in the low load floor against which the rear seats normally rest, which doesn't make the bigger space that useable; it won't allow a suitcase to be pushed further into the boot for example. Bit annoying that.
