Keyfob

Unlike keyfobs, which I've become accustomed to, the Renault's key, due to its slim profile, fits snugly fit in my jeans pockets, which is great for my sartorial elegance but a nightmare when you want to locate it, as it 'disappears', especially when crammed in with a wallet, mobile phone, house keys, kid's cereal bar wrapper etc. Only last weekend I was stood outside the car arguing with my wife over who had the key, only to sheepishly produce it after having rooted through my pockets for a third time.

Also, having given the car an auto-lock/unlock feature, which I like, why is it that auto-unlock is disengaged once the keycard's lock button has been pressed?
