The Volvo V60 Driv-e makes grand promises about high mileage on one tank, and so far it has lived up to them.
The test car made its first long-distance journey on our fleet recently, travelling from Kent to Devon for a family holiday. On arrival, it undertook a handful of day trips before the sullen return leg to reality. All-in-all, more than 600 miles were covered, yet there was no need for a petrol station stop. More remarkably, once it had returned back to Kent there was still a quarter of a tank left to play with.
