Our Fleet Test Drive: Volvo V60 Driv-e - 7th Report

Date: 05 October 2011   |   Author: Rachel Burgess

Boot

In terms of boot size, the V60 fares well against its rivals.

At 557 litres it is one of the larger boots in the segment - the BMW 3-series Touring has 460 litres and the Audi A4 Avant 490 litres. If you add in the V60 rear seats, which are 40:20:40 foldable, there's 1241 litres of luggage space.

Volvo's attention to detail has stretched from front to back, and the boot can be compartmentalised to ensure luggage won't move around too much. There are also hooks and side areas to keep shopping bags secured, making family life that much easier.
