The Lexus has an electrical glitch. Ordinarily, the reversing camera displays guidance lines on the screen to help you back-up.

I've never used them on any car previously as I can't figure out how they work, so it's no great loss. But the on-screen appearance of random lines and a warning that I've turned the wheel too far are - although relatively short-lived - off-putting.

I'm calling the local Lexus garage to get it fixed, and while there I'll have them silence the beeping that sounds when reverse is selected, so that I only have to listen to the distance sensor when parking.
