Winter tyres
Taking advantage of Peugeot's winter tyre programme, I made my first visit to my local dealer, Charters in Aldershot, just before Christmas to have the seasonal cold-weather rubber fitted to the 508.
I was offered a collect and deliver service to have the set of Michelin Alpins fitted, but opted to drop the car off, mainly so that I could take the above picture. As it turns out, Charters has free wi-fi and the 508 received a complementary wash.
Fleets will have to look carefully at the cost benefits, but the £205-a-corner winters should mean there's much better grip in the cold and wet. And if it snows, we should be able to keep moving.
