Our Fleet Test Drive: Audi A4 - 7th report

Date: 24 March 2016   |   Author:

I've been chatting to a couple of people recently that have experienced the new A4 in one form or another, and the universal view backs up my own opinion that it's a huge step forward from the old car, and that the refinement and relaxing ride quality combine well with a vehicle that far from disgraces itself from a handling perspective.

I'm starting to take its qualities for granted, with the Audi being a calm and relaxing courier between work and home, complete with logical and sensible interior functionality. It's still a shame the German firm didn't make a bit more of a styling statement to go with the big improvements under the body though.

Verdict

  • Refinement
  • Interior quality
  • Blend-into-the-background looks
