Our Fleet Test Drive: Fiat 500L - 4th Report

Keys say a lot about a car.

The Fiat 500L's fob looks great but has irritatingly unclear blipper markings on the key itself. In these dark winter months, the symbols are not clearly differentiated, and in matt especially, juxtaposed against a big (and physically prouder) Fiat badge in front, I find myself endlessly pressing the wrong button. The aesthetically pleasing smart brown leather fob with contrast stitching slightly offsets the functional pain, but couldn't the designer have added a white highlight to the universal 'lock' and 'unlock' symbols or make then prouder in relation to the surfaces around them so they become more visible? Annoying.
