Our Fleet Test Drive: Honda CR-V - 3rd Report

Date: 21 February 2014   |   Author:

This report was nearly a moan about how you can't change the CR-V's default door-locking setting, where only the driver's door unlocks on the first blip.

Which is a pain when you have kids as the first door you open is generally theirs, and when you forget it hasn't unlocked you then have to fish out the key fob out again to double-click it.

Then, as a cursory check, I read the manual.

Turns out you can set the first press to open all the doors, while there are other customisations I am now quite pleased with, such as the trip computer resetting on refuelling or every time the ignition is switched on.
