Our Fleet Test Drive Kia Ceed SW - 15th report

Unrelenting rain and icy mornings tested our Ceed SW's ability to de-mist and de-ice the estate car's glass surfaces earlier this year. The maximum de-frost/de-fog mode is competent rather than outstanding in clearing the front screen, although annoyingly it doesn't have a graduated fan application, just the adjustable separate upward airflow setting.
Meanwhile, embedded heating elements - like the front windscreen element that until recently were the almost exclusive domain of Ford vehicles - would minimise time-consuming scraping and spraying as appointments loom for fleet drivers.
