Our Fleet Test Drive: Kia Ceed SW - 8th Report

Long-term relationships can throw up niggling irritations.

For example, sustained use on holiday of the otherwise effective Kia Ceed rear hatch involved the sliding cover consistently coming off the rails or channels.

At the other end of the cabin, the fuel gauge flatters to deceive, reading full until several hundred miles are covered before the needle drops.

There also appears to be no way of separately switching the sound system off while maintaining satnav use or easily keeping guidance volume high enough when the radio is turned down.
