The start point for the best source of fleet information

Our Fleet Test Drive: Mazda 6 2.2D - 16th Report

Date: 26 February 2014   |   Author: Tristan Young

The satnav issues that started after one of the 6's black-box brains died have persisted.

I've had various odd messages, including one about a route needing a ferry when travelling from Hertfordshire to Surrey.

However, the main problem is that the TomTom-based system won't connect to 'live services', which gives real-time traffic updates and has proved very useful.

I noticed it wasn't working when the radio told me of a long delay on the M40, which the satnav hadn't spotted.

Luckily, the jam was avoided, but even after more than 30 minutes 'thinking' time, the system still refused to connect. So it's another trip to the local TW White & Sons dealership.
