The start point for the best source of fleet information |

After living with a Mercedes A-class Sport with added sports suspension for five months, largely on the decidedly unsporting speed-bumped and potholed roads of south London, I'd come to the conclusion a bit more comfort under the seat might be good.
Armed with that hard-won knowledge and knowing there was an alternative, I sought a comparison with an A-class featuring comfort suspension.
Such an A-class duly arrived - somewhat paradoxically kitted out in go-faster AMG Sport trim, bigger 18-inch alloys and still with a lowered ride height - but in a week it proved considerably more comfortable than my long-term non-AMG but still Sport-trimmed 17-inch alloyed vehicle with the £290 Dynamic Handling Package fitted.
The latter option firms up springs and dampers - great if you're whizzing round a track or traversing a super-smooth continental mountain pass where EU money has been spent on lots of new tarmac, but back in Blighty after a cold and rainy winter has wreaked havoc with the road surfaces and where not enough of those holes have been filled, I'd go for comfort every time.
