Our Fleet Test Drive: Peugeot 308 - 4th report

Date: 21 January 2015   |   Author: Guy Bird

I'm a big fan of safety for obvious reasons, but safety overload can be a problem in modern cars. Case in point, the 308's red seatbelt warning sign, informing the driver someone in the car needs to buckle up, stays on far too long after all seatbelts have been fastened - sometimes for 20 seconds, but weirdly not always - which is irritating when we've done what the audio chime and visual light told us, but more important, distracting, too, because you end up falsely accusing your kids of not buckling up when asked, get into an argument and focus less on the road.
