Our Fleet Test Drive: Peugeot 308 - 8th report

Date: 10 March 2015   |   Author: Guy Bird

Driving a car full of sweaty five-a-side footballers home in the winter provides a tough test for any de-mister. Luckily, it has its own physical button in the 308, and once pressed, vision impaired by steaming bodies is quickly restored.

The only pain is it seems to be either on or off. Try to gradually reduce the fan's power via the touchscreen from 'full-force four' to 'ticking-over one' and it turns off completely, which means having to turn it on to full (and noisy) blast again a minute later, impeding post-match chat. Switching to auto A/C seems to be the only option, but it is slower to react.
