Our Fleet Test Drive: Renault Captur - 5th report

Date: 09 October 2014   |   Author:

An interior scuffle seemingly deactivated the satellite navigation on our Captur. It's a simple
enough mistake, but one drivers might find they have made without realising it.

The TomTom SD card had somehow been knocked out of place, which meant the navigation option on the R-Link 7-inch touch-screen had been greyed out. Ejecting the card and reinserting it cured the problem easily enough.

The TomTom system includes IQ routes technology, which calculates the ideal itinerary based on statistical analysis of journey times during the previous six months, taking the day of the week and time of day into account. Perfect for finding my way into town from my new place in south London.
