Our Fleet Test Drive: Skoda Superb - 2nd report

So instead I think it's well worth a quick run-through a few of the little things that go part of the way to making the Superb an excellent practical family estate.

If you've run a Superb before then these won't be new, but I'm betting all those that haven't will be saying 'that's a good idea' at some of these items.

First up in the 'good idea' department are the umbrellas hidden in the front doors [1]. One umbrella is concealed in each door and it means you'll never be caught out by an unexpected shower.

The next clever idea is the ice scraper fitted to the inside of the fuel filler flap [2]. It's not been cold enough yet to merit use, but it's good to know it's there.

The final hidden gems are the two pieces of plastic mounted at the sides of the boot [3]. Take them out and fold them and they can be stuck (temporarily) to the huge boot floor and used to stop small items from rolling around. Now aren't they Superbly clever ideas?
