Our Fleet Test Drive: Vauxhall Zafira - 7th Report

Date: 06 December 2013   |   Author: Tony Rock

When you're doing 100-minute mainly motorway commutes each way, the two things you want are relative comfort and a reliable stereo, and while the Zafira Tourer is delivering on the former, it's failing on the latter.

In particular, the DAB signal keeps dropping out. Whatever the station (Talk Sport, BBC Radio 4, 5 Live and 6 channels or Absolute Radio 90s) or location - north or south, capital or countryside - both the reception and on-screen name disappear too often for my liking.

The solution is to switch back to FM/AM then hit the desired preset button, but doing that is becoming a pain.
