The start point for the best source of fleet information

Our Fleet Test Drive: Kia Ceed - 14th report

Date: 22 July 2014   |   Author: Hugh Hunston

The only option on the Kia Ceed is the metallic silver paint, coming in at a price of £465

Unrelenting rain and icy mornings tested our Ceed SW's ability to de-mist and de-ice the estate car's glass surfaces recently.

The maximum de-frost/de-fog mode is competent rather than outstanding in clearing the front screen, although annoyingly it doesn't have a graduated fan application, just the adjustable separate upward airflow setting.

Meanwhile, embedded heating elements - like the front windscreen element that until recently were the almost exclusive domain of Ford vehicles - would minimise time-consuming scraping and spraying as appointments loom for fleet drivers.
